Challenge
As we expand Homeowners Hub, we’ve encountered significant challenges in managing our rapidly increasing volume of projects and new employees. We used a blend of Keap CRM, Trello, and paper-based tracking for years to manage our workload. Over time it proved inadequate and cumbersome for our scaling business. We needed a more efficient, scalable solution.
Research
In our search for an improved system, we discovered Engine Awesome. Intrigued by its promise of a customizable and scalable solution, we began exploring the platform and working directly with their team. It didn’t take long to recognize Engine Awesome’s capability to be tailored to our unique business needs. We immediately saw the benefits and started moving our operations over.
Solutions
- Easily import existing data: Homeowners Hub has been around for a while, and we’ve accumulated over 2,000 contacts in Keap. They needed to be imported seamlessly into Engine Awesome since manual entry was not an option. Engine Awesome’s white-glove service imported our existing data seamlessly.
- Quick start and rapid expansion: At Homeowners Hub, we manage many projects daily, so there was no room for downtime during this transition. We launched by choosing and installing one of Engine Awesome’s application templates, “Simple CRM,” which was a great starting point. We worked with Engine Awesome’s team to modify the application to align with our operational needs. The modifications were fast and usually implemented within a few minutes.
- Tailored workflow for business specifics: The adaptability of Engine Awesome was a game-changer for us. Our previous CRM was loaded with superfluous features that were complicated and slowed us down, but Engine Awesome offered us a different experience. It empowered us to construct a system that was free from unnecessary clutter. This lean approach meant we could focus exclusively on features and workflows essential to our business needs. We crafted a platform aligned with our unique business processes, enhancing our operational efficiency and responsiveness to customer needs. Engine Awesome has proven to be a pivotal asset in our business strategy.
- Enhanced team collaboration: At Homeowners Hub, we are experiencing huge growth and want to make it easy to onboard new employees. We were able to create a straightforward and intuitive layout with Engine Awesome that ensures anyone can log in and immediately grasp how to manage and track projects. Training new employees is fast and easy. All our data is in one central place where anyone on the team can quickly get up to date on client projects.
- Growing our application: Once we realized how quick it was to add new functionality, we started to grow our Engine Awesome application beyond the initial scope. We track so much more data than we did previously, and it’s presented in a clean, efficient way. We’ve begun building new features, like a service library and home systems records, so we can make sure we are fully servicing our customers.
Results
Implementing Engine Awesome led to huge improvements in our operating efficiency. Notably, the reduction in project management time allowed us to handle more projects simultaneously. Beyond just doing more, we’re doing it better, with workflows that are smooth and adaptable to our growing needs.
Engine Awesome has provided immediate benefits and laid a strong foundation for our long-term scalability and success. As a result, I believe Homeowners Hub is now better positioned to handle future growth, embrace new challenges, and continue delivering exceptional service to our clients.
